joint venture co-invested by Taiyuan Rubber Factory and Hong
Kong-based China Strategic Investment Holdings. April
20th: Standing Committee member of Political Bureau of CPC
Central Committee and Chairman of Standing Committee of the
National People's Congress Qiao Shi paid a visit to the factory. May
6th: Shuangxi Tire Industrial Co., Ltd was established, and the
1st Board of Directors was set up. July
1993:Shuangxi
Tire Industrial Co., Ltd won the first position of the whole
industry in 10 of 189 key economic indices of the tire industry. December
5th: The State Economic Commission conferred Shuangxi Tire
Industrial Co., Ltd with the title of Large-sized Grade II
